Forky meets up with his friend, Pen, and enjoys a sunny Sunday in the park with the NY Times crossword. To save paper, of course, Forky never forks out the $5 for the Sunday Times. He just rips the crossword out of other people’s papers.
Forky plays a show at the old Hit Factory Studios in NYC last night. His career will be tragically cut short by biodegradation. However, like any other tortured rock star with great hair, he stays for the afterparty; living it up with free booze and finger foods and jamming with some other wooden friends, including Dolly Parton’s guitar.
Forky takes a ramble around the Met and decides this painting by El Greco should last forever; disposables shouldn’t.
Happy Earth Day. Forky Kicks Off his Earth Tour with a ride on the NRW to Brooklyn. Earth looks pretty good on this nice sunny day in NYC.
Though Forky admits it was a little crowded in morning rush hour, and that crazy man screamed at him a little, it is quite possible this could be one of the most carbon-friendly commutes in the world. Plus, the busker playing the bongos on the platform was a nice touch.
Now remember, it’s Earth Day. Please don’t touch any plastic forks, for Mother Earth’s Sakes!
